She is an approximately 10-month-old Border Collie mix who was found as a stray in a rural area. Piper was picked up when she was about 6 months old and lived in a shelter for 4 months. Finally, Piper got a chance to move to a FFN foster home............ She is currently living with a Rottweiler, a Pug mix and French Bulldog and is doing great with them! Piper loves to run and play with them outside, but when she comes in she settles down by her foster mom’s feet. She is truly a sweet girl. Piper also lives with a child in a wheelchair, and it doesn’t scare her at all. She goes right up to the child for some pets. Piper is still very much a puppy, loving to play, jump and at times use her mouth (gently) when she is excited from playing. While in her foster home she is working on leash training, basic manners and playing with toys. Piper is crate trained and housebroken. She would make a great running or hiking partner as she is so young and has the energy and endurance for such activities. Piper is super smart and would be amazing for rally obedience or even agility. If you love active dogs or the Border Collie breed don’t pass Piper by as she is great! Please research her breed to ensure you have what it takes to be her human.
