About Piquillo

Piquillo is part of a special rescue litter called the Pepper Litter. Her mom was brought in after being found homeless and pregnant, and Piquillo grew up alongside her seven littermates under the gentle guidance of their mother. With a German Shepherd dad and a mom who’s part American Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador Retriever, she’s genuinely one-of-a-kind. At just over two months old, she already weighs around 43 pounds and has a soft, medium-length black and tan coat. Piquillo’s foster family describes her as incredibly calm, easy-going, and the chillest pup in her group. She’s playful and affectionate, never turning down a good snuggle or the chance to give puppy kisses. Piquillo gets along well with other dogs and thrives in active environments. She hasn’t met any cats herself, but her littermates have adjusted fine when introduced to cats with patience. While she hasn’t lived with children, her foster thinks she’d do well given her temperament. Piquillo is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on leash—she’s ready to hit the trails or curl up for some downtime depending on what you’re looking for. She’s up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Born on February 16, Piquillo is an Aquarius—quirky, smart, and full of heart. Start your journey together! Apply now.
