About Captain Chonk
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Lou might look like a little cream puff, but that just adds to his irresistible charm. Sometimes he gives into the munchies—after everything he’s been through, who could blame him? Lou’s life started rough, coming from an abusive situation that even left him with a skull fracture. He was transferred from a big shelter because he simply wasn’t thriving there. Despite carrying some emotional baggage, Lou’s gentle soul shines through. He loves lap time and will always be quick to curl up with you, even if he sometimes needs to retreat to a quiet place to sleep. His cool ticked fur and chocolate stripes make him the talk of the cat world, and at only two years old, he still has plenty of love to give. Lou gets along well with both cats and dogs, and earns five stars for his perfect litter box habits. Lou would thrive best with someone cat-experienced who can help him feel safe and cherished. He must be an indoor-only companion since the outdoors feel overwhelming for him. Full of playful energy, Lou loves his toys and always keeps his favorite toy mice close by. Healthy (charming tummy pudge included), Lou is ready for someone special to help him start the next, happiest chapter of his journey. Your new best friend is just one click away.
