Blue
AvailableBlue is a young, medium-sized male domestic short hair in Rochester Hills, MI. He has been neutered, is house trained, and his vaccinations are up to date. Blue’s black coat and gentle presence make him a standout companion. He is looking for a patient home where he can continue to rediscover trust.
About Blue
Blue has been through quite a bit. After his owner died, Blue spent an unknown stretch of time fending for himself with other cats before being rescued. That left him wary and distant. Thankfully, a cat-savvy foster family took him in and gave him space to heal at his own pace. It took over a year, but eventually Blue decided to give trust another shot—now he leans into pets, seeks out laps, and has discovered a real love for soft blankets. He’ll happily head-butt your hand or nudge your elbow for more attention, and makes his opinions known with a surprisingly talkative style. Blue can still be aloof occasionally, and anyone adopting him should expect a bit of backsliding now and then. He needs a patient, mature home where people understand that progress isn’t always linear. Older children are fine, and Blue just might enjoy another relaxed, non-aggressive cat. He isn’t fond of dogs. Mostly, though, Blue is looking for someone willing to give him the security he craves. If you’ve got the patience for a cat with history and heart, Blue is worth the effort.
