It took almost 20 minutes in the bark park session before the photographer witnessed the reason for the Humane Society volunteers awarding Rocket Man’s descriptive name. He performed a dash and a zip and a zoom as he took a quick “check it out” tour of the park. At the end of the excursion, 2-year-old Rocket Man settled back into his easy-going personality and shared his disarmingly endearing smile with all the visitors in the bark park. Then Rocket Man turned his attention to a flying squeaky and accomplished a perfect Boxer stare down of an always in season Christmas Elf. Rocket Man is in tip-top shape, weighing only a svelte 39-pounds and easily convinced the squeaky to contentedly surrender.
