About Yara
Yara is a striking Lynx Point Mix, blending Siamese and Tabby features with a coat of cream and subtle grey and piercing blue eyes. She landed with the rescue after her start in a hoarding situation and a stint at a municipal shelter, so building trust isnāt easy for her. Shy by nature, Yara tends to keep her distance, though sheāll cautiously sniff your hand and has on rare occasions allowed a brief touch. Sheās independentāhappy to play solo with string toys and enjoys her time with catnip, but donāt expect her to beg for treats or affection. Yara currently lives with other cats and may adapt to a home with feline companions, as long as proper introductions are made. Her temperament isnāt a fit for young kids, so an adult home offers the right environment. Consistency, patience, and a calm routine suit her best; sheāll need someone willing to carve out regular one-on-one time. Sheās fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Fun fact: Born on September 9, Yara is a Virgoāa sign known for being reserved yet loyal once trust is earned. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
