Adopt Frankie! Frank is beginning his search for the perfect forever home and we will certainly be picky. This handsome boy will be 4 in June (DOB 6/27/22) & is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Frankie found himself in rescue unexpectedly due to unfortunate circumstances. His previous owner (mom) put a ton of work into him and their training, and truly wanted better for him than she could provide. He was (is) a very loved, and spoiled boy and it’s evident. We are seeking someone who will continue that for him. Frankie is requesting an only pet home where he can be the king he deserves to be! Frank is fostered with other dogs (including several dobies) in sense of can be crated beside them, and coexist tethered and rotated, however is seeking to be the only dog in the home. He is crate and house trained, knows basic commands and lives for chuck it balls. Frank has worked to leave his reactive days behind him, and has learned neutrality. Like all Dobermans, Frankie bonds to his handler and is compliant, and eager to please. Frankie previously lived in center city and did not do well with city life. He is seeking to stay in the suburbs, preferably with a fenced in yard. Frankie does have experience with children and was respectful & tolerant, but with effort to set him up for best success seeking “older” kids if any in the home. Frank is obedient, goofy and loves to play. He loves people, and in true Dobie fashion is all about body language and demeanor. He is guarded and loyal by nature, but also sensitive, sweet and truly “wears his heart on his sleeve” Adopter must have breed experience (or similar working breed exp) and live within approx 2 hours of Philadelphia area.
