About Donner
Meet Donner, a 6-month-old male husky/lab mix who has all the makings of your next big-hearted companion. Donner came into rescue with his eight siblings as young pups, left behind and without their mother. Despite his rough start, Donner’s spirit hasn’t wavered—he’s a sweet, playful, and deeply affectionate pup. Donner’s coat is soft and fluffy, and his playful energy is matched only by his love of snow. If you’re out in the winter, you’ll find him rolling around, romping, and maybe snacking on a little fresh powder. Donner is smart and quick to learn, already mastering “sit” and getting the hang of “stay.” He loves to play with other dogs, gets along well with children, and, once he’s bonded to you, becomes a true cuddlebug. He is crate trained, spends his nights sleeping soundly, and is mostly housebroken—he’ll use pee pads and is consistently learning outdoor potty habits. Donner’s neuter appointment is coming up, and his vaccinations are current. If you’ve been looking for a fluffy, playful, smart “polar bear” of a dog who just wants to love and be loved, Donner is waiting for you in Middletown, CT. Ready to meet your new best friend?
