Valora is a quiet little miracle in cat form. She came to us from a hard situation with three very sick kittens. Somehow, through exhaustion and illness, she kept going--nursing them, cleaning them, protecting them--giving everything she had, even when it nearly cost her her own life. Her kittens made it. Valora did too. Along the way she lost a few teeth, which left her with the most endearing little tongue blep. It fits her perfectly--soft, gentle, and a little vulnerable. Valora is incredibly sweet and deeply grateful for love. She leans into pets like she's memorizing the feeling. Every morning, she seems to wake up asking the same quiet question: *Am I still safe? Am I still loved?* We don't know what her life was like before rescue, only that it wasn't easy. Because of that, Valora would do best in a calm, peaceful home. She's fine with gentle, respectful cats, but she'd also be perfectly happy as an only pet--as long as her person is around often. What she needs most is consistency, kindness, and reassurance that she will never be left behind again. Valora's face is full of hope. She's ready to give her whole heart to someone who will promise to keep it safe.
