About Romi

Romi is a lively, affectionate orange domestic short hair who never turns down an invitation for pets and attention. She has a soft spot for curling up in any squishy, cozy spot—laundry baskets and fluffy comforters are favorites. Romi will wind around your legs and happily lap up gentle affection, but if things get a bit too enthusiastic, she’ll signal with a sassy flick so you know when to back off. She started life in less-than-ideal circumstances, living in a hotel with another cat, until a rescue stepped in. Now, she’s quick to show her gratitude for better care. At about two and a half years old, Romi is still plenty active and needs daily playtime and stimulation. She enjoys exploring and prefers having space to herself when it comes to other cats—except for Michelle, her close companion from before rescue, with whom she’d happily be adopted as a pair. As a solo cat, or in a home with another independent feline, Romi stays confident. She’s also fully litter box trained and in good health. Romi would do best with adults or families with older children. She’s not a fan of dogs and would be happier in a home without them, or where a calm, indifferent dog gives her plenty of room.
