About Maxie
Your new best friend is just one click away. Maxie is a friendly and highly food-motivated cat who is easy to handle and enjoys interacting with people. He adapts well to different situations, traveling calmly in his carrier and being comfortable during car rides. Maxie has been living peacefully with three resident cats and integrates into multi-cat households without significant issues. He consistently uses the litter box, including the Litter Robot, without any problems. Maxie was once a stray who developed trust and came inside after spending some time being cared for outdoors. He is now fully indoors and has received all necessary veterinary care. Maxie is FIV-positive but otherwise healthy, and he continues to display a gentle and friendly demeanor. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is specific to cats and cannot be transmitted to other animals or humans; transmission occurs mainly through deep bite wounds between unaltered outdoor cats, while casual interactions like sharing food bowls or grooming do not pose a risk. Please note: This sweet cat is not within the Snowflake foster system, and his adoption will be a private arrangement with the rescuer. If you are interested in meeting Maxie, you can reach out by email or phone to arrange a visit. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
