About Aspen
Meet Aspen, a 2–3-year-old Siberian Husky with a story that will move you. He lived with one family until neighbors spotted signs of neglect and called for help. After three failed warnings, animal control rescued him—he was severely underweight, left without food, water, or shelter. Brought back to health at animal control, Aspen lingered for months without interest and was dangerously close to euthanasia before a rescue stepped in. Since then, Aspen has grown into a spirited, playful, and affectionate dog. He’s crate trained, house trained, and does well both on and off leash. He enjoys car rides more now, and he loves spending time with children. Aspen plays well with all female dogs and very submissive males, but he’s dominant and can be pushy during play. He cannot live with cats due to a high prey drive. Currently fostered and continuing his training at K9 Pawzbilities, Aspen is eager to show off his good manners to the right family. If you’re looking for an energetic, loyal Husky in Thousand Oaks, CA, Aspen is ready to meet you. Your new best friend is just one click away.
