About Pumpkin
If teddy bear cheeks and gentle giants are your thing, Pumpkin’s hard to resist. He's got the intimidating size, but deep down, he just wants affection. Life on the streets gave him a tough exterior, but these days, comfort and pampering mean everything to him. He enjoys soft beds, quiet spaces, and all the cuddles you’ve got. Pumpkin not only tolerates other cats, he genuinely seems to enjoy their company, having once taken on the role of protector in his old colony. New surroundings might make him a bit cautious, but he warms up quickly, especially if food is involved. Head butts and soft chirps are his typical greetings once he’s settled. Just be aware he likes his independence and isn’t a fan of being picked up—come to him on his terms, and you’ll have a loyal snuggle buddy. He’s got excellent litter box manners and fits seamlessly into a calm home. Pumpkin is FeLV positive—this doesn’t stop him from living a healthy, contented life. He’ll need to be an indoor cat with either other FeLV+ companions or as a solo feline. The right adopter will appreciate that FeLV isn’t something to fear but just something to manage with care. All his medical needs are up to date, and he's been thoroughly vetted, neutered, and vaccinated. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
