Pure bred Doberman here! I’m Draco — a 3 year old, 72 pound Doberman Pinscher with a calm soul, a sharp mind, and a soft spot for cuddles. I’m house trained, well-mannered, and more of a laid-back working dog type than a wild athlete. I enjoy moderate exercise, daily walks, and a couple of short zoomie sessions that last just a few minutes — then I’m right back to relaxing like a pro. I’m highly intelligent, quieter than most people expect, and I do best with calm, confident adults who appreciate my steady personality. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy peaceful companionship. I’m leash trained and polite, though I do like to wander a bit and can get mildly distracted — no yanking, just the occasional gentle tension. A privacy-fenced yard would be perfect for me. I’m not a big fan of crates, but I’m making progress, just like I’m working on perfecting my loose-leash walking skills. When I get stressed, I sometimes nibble at my hip for a minute or two — it’s just my quirky coping habit — and I do best in a calm, understanding home that can help me feel secure.
