Meet Lady - A Sweet, Smart Girl Ready to Learn Lady is a gentle, affectionate pup whose need for rehoming is due to the loss of her human family, not because of any behavior or care concerns. She came from a loving home with a large yard and is now beginning a new chapter in foster care, where her wonderful potential is truly starting to shine. Lady is eager to please, highly food motivated, and very smart. While she didn't previously receive much formal training with leash walking, commands, or games, she is picking things up quickly and enthusiastically in foster care. She especially enjoys food puzzles and is already showing how quickly she learns. With time, patience, and attention, Lady has the potential to become an exceptionally skilled and obedient companion. Lady has a sweet, gentle demeanor and a soft heart that makes her easy to love. She can startle easily and may cower or give a couple of big barks when unsure, but she rebounds quickly and is easily comforted. She has not had prior exposure to children or cats but currently lives with another dog and loves to invite him into playful wrestling-though her enthusiasm isn't always returned. She has not yet been observed interacting with unfamiliar dogs. Lady would thrive in a home where she doesn't have to compete for attention and can be someone's special focus. She would love learning new games, building her skills, and enjoying plenty of snuggles. She is well-behaved when left on her own and has not shown any destructive behaviors in foster care. Lady is a true sweetheart who is ready for a patient, loving home that will help her continue to grow and blossom.
