Having recently recovered from a bout of hair loss due to a past flea issue, Gumpy is on the mend and ready to find his forever home where he can thrive.

Meet Gumpy, a heart-melting 5-year-old pit bull terrier who is ready to start his new chapter at Dogtown Ranch Sanctuary, Rescue & Rehab Center in Rockdale, TX. Recently saved from a crowded California shelter, this adorable fellow is known for his joyful spirit—his whole body wiggles with excitement when he meets other dogs! With a few missing teeth and a permanently perky tongue that hangs out to the side, Gumpy is truly one-of-a-kind and lovable. Though he arrived with some hair loss on his back and rear legs from a past flea infestation, his skin is improving rapidly and he’s expected to fully recover with a nurturing environment and good nutrition. Gumpy is already neutered, gets along well with other dogs, and is searching for that perfect forever home, foster, or someone interested in foster-to-adopt. His affectionate and friendly nature will make him a wonderful companion for the right household. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
