About Frida

Frida is a gentle, soulful cat with deep, expressive eyes. She’s been through a lot—rescued with her four newborn kittens, she proved to be a devoted mother until her babies were adopted, leaving her alone at the shelter. The experience made her shut down; she spent days hiding, only coming out to eat at night, lost in the noise and stress around her. Once moved to a foster home, Frida transformed. She came out of hiding, stopped having any litter box issues, and showed how much she thrives when things are calm. Frida doesn’t seek the spotlight, but she craves a gentle hand and a peaceful presence. She especially enjoys having kittens around; their energy seems to give her comfort and ease. Frida needs a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time for her, but if you let her settle in, you’ll see her sweet, soft side emerge. She’ll do best in a quiet, stable home, possibly with another friendly feline as company. Frida’s ready to leave her hard start behind. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
