Kissy Suzuki, one of our cherished Purr-manents, truly shines as the Queen of the Bleps and the charming mascot of Tongue Out Tuesdays. Born in the summer of 2014, this sweet, toothless senior has faced a tough medical journey with chronic kidney disease, rhinitis, and mammary cancer, yet her resilient spirit and unmistakable personality make her unforgettable. Kissy’s journey from a traumatic hoarding situation to beloved resident is a testament to her strength. Her litter box habits have always been quirky—a legacy from her past—but in our caring environment, her occasional mishaps are easily managed. Kissy Suzuki, despite being a ‘hot mess’, is a living symbol of survival and joy, inspiring everyone who meets her. By sharing stories like Kissy Suzuki's, we honor not only her life, but all the special cats who teach us about compassion every day.
