About Pork
Pork is a gentle, soft, and sweet young black cat with a knack for keeping himself and his surroundings spotless. He's a year old and still figuring out human companionship after growing up with little interaction, so he tends to be shy around new people. Once he feels safe, Pork shows a playful and loving side, giving full-throttle purrs and even asking for belly rubs—a rare quirk for a shy cat. He’s known for being motherly, especially when grooming his foster mom, and his low-shedding coat is an added bonus. Pork gets along very well with other cats, and he really thrives when there’s a confident, playful cat around to help show him the ropes. Dogs don’t phase him as long as they’re calm and respectful, but hectic households and young children may feel overwhelming. Patient adopters, especially those with older children or cat-savvy teens, will see him blossom. Ready for double the fun? He’d love to find a home with his buddy Onyx, but mostly just needs a home with another friendly cat. Pork is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
