Gus came in to the shelter extremely emaciated. Fortunately we found an incredible foster home that could handle this and for the past few months Gus now Chance has been healing and thriving. It’s time for him now to continue his happily ever after and find a forever home. Here’s what his foster has to say about him. Gus aka Chance is a very happy goofy boy who's happy cuddling on the couch or going on a walk. Walks very well on a leash. If he can see and hear you he wants to be with you, if he can't he will bark. He sleeps well in a crate or in bed of you allow. He will often put himself to bed if he's ready. He is dog selective. He's not a fan of smaller animals (chickens, pigs) he just wants to chase them so cats probably wouldn't be a good fit. He does get excitable so older kids would probably be best. Very well mannered but does need continued training. House broken and will whine at the door when he has to go out. He is very loyal and aims to please.
