Biscotti is a gentle, observant boy who is still deciding how he feels about being petted, and he appreciates people who respect his boundaries. Found as a very shy kitten in a garage early this winter, Biscotti has come a long way and continues to gain confidence in foster care. (To be fair, once Biscotti finally gives into petting he loves it, but it takes a long time for him to feel safe to allow it). While he’s not quite ready to be a hands-on cuddle cat, Biscotti loves toys and truly thrives around other kittens. He takes comfort in feline companionship and often gains confidence by watching other cats interact with the world first. Biscotti is neat with his litterbox, playful in a quiet way, and clearly learning more every day. He’ll need a patient, cat-savvy home that understands trust takes time. A household without little kids is a must. Biscotti and his sister Cannoli do not have to be adopted together, though they could be. Both kittens love other cats and, if not being adopted together, must go to a home with another friendly cat or kitten to help them feel secure and continue building confidence.
