Building trust with her is a slow, rewarding process that can’t be hurried—and when she feels overwhelmed, she may become fearful. Marmalade walks thoughtfully on a leash, still a little wary of her surroundings, and she best responds to quiet encouragement and patient support rather than treats. Her greatest strides come from gentle persistence and steady companionship, and she continues to grow in confidence with each encouraging experience. After a week-long confidence-building program, she is ready to find someone who understands her unique needs.
