Pickels is a super friendly cat who was found outdoors in the Poconos, depending on a kind neighbor for food until a rescue could help. When he appeared with a severe tail injury, his foster immediately took him in and helped him recover from surgery that left him with a much shorter tail and a little extra character. Outgoing and quick to adapt, Pickels enjoys attention, is comfortable being held, and always wants to be where the action is—supervising and joining in. He gets along well with other cats in his foster home and could also thrive as the only cat. Pickels seems tolerant of dogs and does well with children, too.
