Della is a small, cream-coated Chihuahua/Terrier mix who tips the scale at about 11 lbs. She was born on April 20, 2022, making her a Taurus—a sign known for its loyalty and steady temperament. Previously an owner surrender, Della’s original person felt work kept them too busy to give her the time she deserves. During her first days at rescue, Della had a few seizures. After a vet check and starting medication, her seizures are well managed and she’s settling into her foster home. She’s a little shy at first, brimming with energy once comfortable, and quick to pick up on routines and new social situations. Della gets along with other dogs, enjoys being with people, and especially loves to curl up as a lap companion. While not yet fully house trained, she’s learning quickly and remains resilient through it all. Della’s searching for a loving family to give her the attention and lap time she craves.
