Meet Susie! Susie is a 2-year-old, 21-pound terrier mix with the sweetest little heart. She is good with kids, cats, and other dogs, and she would absolutely love to have a confident doggy friend in the home to show her the ropes. Susie started out very shy and unsure of people, and she is still learning that the world is a safe place. Right now she’s the kind of girl who might hang back, avoid eye contact, and curl up in a corner when she feels nervous. But give her patience and kindness, and you’ll start to see her blossom. With another dog by her side she’s already showing signs of coming out of her shell, and we know there is a playful, spunky girl waiting to shine. When Susie begins to trust you, she will run right up to greet you with her tail wagging and her whole body wiggling with excitement. She just needs someone who will take the time to help her feel safe. With love and dedication, Susie will transform into the loyal best friend you’ve been waiting for.
