Opal is an extremely shy but incredibly sweet soul, the kind of kitten who prefers to take in the world quietly before stepping into it. She doesn’t enjoy being held, but she loves being near her people—sharing space, watching what you’re doing, and simply feeling included. Opal needs time to adjust to new surroundings and a new family, but once she does, her gentle presence becomes a comforting and constant part of the home. One of Opal’s favorite pastimes is watching TV. She’ll plop herself right in front of the screen or off to the side, gazing intently as if she’s following every scene. When she’s not enjoying her shows, she loves playing with her brothers and sisters and relaxing on her favorite flower-shaped perch on the cat tree. Opal would do best in a calm, patient home that understands shy kittens and appreciates a quiet, observant companion.
