About Bambi
Meet Bambi. Bambi started her life in El Paso, born at Animal Services in late 2016. Adopted as a puppy, she spent most of her years in a home, but nearly a decade later, she ended up back at the shelter as a stray. Months passed before someone noticed her, took a chance, and brought her into a new chapter. After arriving in August 2025, Bambi slowly settled in. She came with some medical needs and a bit of uncertainty, but she has made a quiet transformation. Now at about 10 years old, this shepherd and terrier mix is healthy and steady, weighing around 42 pounds. She doesn’t crave excitement but values company and a peaceful routine. She enjoys slow walks, quiet moments on the couch, and riding along for errands. Bambi is devoted to her people—she’ll follow from room to room, always wanting to be near. Calm and affectionate, she bonds quickly and intensely with those she trusts. Bambi gets along well with dogs, cats, and children, especially when introduced gently and given a laid-back environment. She’s happiest where she can be included, cared for, and finally settle in for good. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
