About Ignatius
Ignatius is a tall, striking black greyhound with all the big, joyful personality you’d expect from a retired racer. He’s four years old, with the high spirits and curiosity to prove it. Every walk and toy becomes a mini-adventure for him, and he’s especially motivated when food is involved. People are his world—he’ll lean in for attention and enjoys being part of everything. Ignatius has completed a behavior training program and really shined, showing just how quickly he learns when he's engaged. Though he mixes well with fellow greyhounds, Ignatius still needs some extra guidance around other breeds, especially smaller dogs. His impulsive streak pops up when excited, so he’s best matched with someone experienced, able to provide steadiness and continue the training and socialization he’s begun. He is not suited to homes with cats. Give Ignatius structure and he’ll deliver love, play, and boundless charm right back.
