About Moana
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Moana! This charming and fiercely independent little girl has all the cattitude you could hope for. Moana will be the perfect roommate, happily entertaining herself while you are at work or out for hours. She loves lounging by a sunny window, watching birds and butterflies, and can keep herself busy with interactive toys and games. Because of a rare autoimmune disease called Pemphigus that was triggered by her initial vaccination, Moana has had to navigate life a bit differently; she tends to be a loner and prefers admirers to give her space at first. Her foster mom wraps her in a 'purrito' blanket for comfort, and after a short steroid regimen, Moana's condition cleared up. Her doctors recommend she not be vaccinated in the future, as a flare-up would again require steroids, so anyone considering vaccination should be prepared. Moana has had little contact with other cats or dogs and prefers to study new visitors from a safe spot rather than jumping right in. Despite her shyness with guests, she makes up for it with incredibly sweet and goofy behavior with her trusted humans. She will happily curl up on your chest in the evening, reward you with her loud purrs, and bring contagious joy to your home. Moana is looking for a quiet, patient adopter who will give her the loving environment she deserves. She promises to be the best part of your day! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
