About Kendrick Lameow

Kendrick Lameow greets the world with a wide grin and meows that sound like he's been practicing his human impressions. This orange and white guy has opinions, and he's not shy about sharing — sometimes he'll voice his thoughts nonstop, other times he falls into thoughtful silence, taking in the action around him. Kendrick loves being held, and if you try to put him down before he’s ready, he’ll gently cling and sink himself in for more cuddles. He's a big, brave softie with a dash of shyness, always curious about what’s going on in his home. His story alongside his foster brother Pingus could fill an episode on daytime TV: three weeks of Pingus hissing and posturing, Kendrick staying patient and never fighting back. Overnight, the ice broke, and now they're an inseparable duo of zoomies and affection. Kendrick dotes on cats and humans alike, always happy to make new friends and be nearby, especially if laps are available. Kendrick won’t do well as a solo cat, and Chicago Cat Rescue places its cats only in multi-cat homes within about 10 miles of Chicago to ensure lifelong community and support. If you’re nearby and looking for a friendly, expressive companion, Kendrick is ready to be the heart of your crew. This could be the start of something paw-some.
