About Pingus
Pingus may be smaller than his foster brother Kendrick, but he doesnāt let size get in the way of running the show at home. He isnāt much for laps, but heās a big fan of curling up as your little spoon through the nightāalways opting for closeness, preferring to lean on you or stay right by your side. If Pingus doesnāt get his second breakfast, heāll look at you with heartbreak written all over his face, though heās quick to let things go. Heās cuddly on his own terms: you can pick him up and melt into his unbelievably soft fur for a bit, but expect him to wriggle free after a while. Pingus and Kendrick didnāt get off to a smooth startāPingus needed three weeks to warm upābut when he did, their bond took off. These two are pure chaos when they play and totally devoted when they lounge; Kendrick is especially loving toward Pingus, and their affection is infectious. Both cats are quick to cozy up to any human they meet. Pingus needs a home with another cat for companionship, per Chicago Cat Rescueās adoption policy. Homes must be within 10 miles of Chicago, and pairs of kittens are only placed together or into homes with another young cat already present. If you enjoy a cat who wants to be part of the action yet appreciates his independence, Pingus might be your match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
