About Shyla
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Shyla is a lovely "tabbico"—a unique blend of calico coloring with a tabby pattern—whose beauty is matched by her gentle, shy nature. Having had a traumatic start in life after being found alone as a tiny kitten, she was understandably frightened when arriving at her foster home, choosing to hide from both the resident pets and her human caregivers. Through patience and providing her space, Shyla gradually emerged from her hiding place, eventually finding companionship and comfort among the house's friendly cats and dogs. She still prefers to keep some distance from humans and only observes interaction for now, but her curiosity shines through as she bravely inches a little closer each day, clearly intrigued by kindness and affection. Shyla will flourish in a calm, loving environment with a family ready to give her the time she needs to grow past her fears and build trust at her own pace. A fun fact: with a birthday on June 1, Shyla is a Gemini, a sign known for its curiosity and adaptability—perfect qualities for a kitten learning to love again. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
