About Remington
Remington has been waiting patiently at the shelter since New Year's Eve and always faces his days with a hopeful, happy demeanor. He's a pit bull terrier/husky mix who loves a good car ride—he hops in without hesitation and rides content in the back, soaking in the passing scenery with his ears up and eyes alert. On trail adventures, Remi is in his element, exploring every bush and rock, especially when the climbs get tough. He keeps a close eye on his people during hikes, rarely straying far—just enough to enjoy being off-leash and showing off his loyalty by circling back to check in. His love of toys and balls is a bonus for any adopter with an active lifestyle or family wanting a hiking companion. In public, Remington stays calm as other dogs and people pass, comfortably keeping to himself. Volunteers note he's starting to put on a little weight after such a long stay, so he would benefit from regular outings and the sort of active routine he clearly relishes. No matter how long he's been waiting, Remington's cheerful spirit never falters; he's simply hoping for the chance at a better life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
