Meet Truffles! This senior gal is looking for a home that can provide some extra love. Truffles is considered to be a special care adoption due to being severely overweight and will need special care in her adoptive home to help with weight loss. Due to Truffle's weight, she is unable to properly groom herself and will need extra care to assist with grooming, including shaving and cleaning her per perianal area to prevent fecal matter matting and perianal dermatitis. Truffles has lived with another dog in the past and tolerated it, so a slow introduction would be best if there are other dogs. We also would recommend that she go home with either older kids, or no kids at all due to her prior home history.
