About Georgia
Georgia is a striking black cat with an easy-going charm who has had her share of unfair turns. At four years old, she found herself put outside after her previous family adopted a puppy that didn’t respect her space. Even so, Georgia stayed gentle. She gladly trusted a neighbor who scooped her up and then settled into a foster home without drama. Georgia genuinely enjoys the company of other easygoing cats and even gets along well with big, calm dogs. Her affectionate nature stands out, especially after what she’s gone through. She’s looking for someone who values her loyalty and won’t turn their back when things change. Georgia is fully vetted, spayed, and house trained. Adopters will need to meet her by appointment in her foster home, and adoptions are limited to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
