About Violet
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Violet, a brown and white senior Domestic Short Hair, was born in 2010 and found safety with Kitty Revolution in 2021. After her previous owner could no longer provide care due to illness, Violet faced uncertain circumstances but was rescued just in time. Along with her companion Bert (who must be adopted with her), she has experienced loss and the challenges of being under-socialized from kittenhood. Violet is a reserved soul who is not a lap cat and feels fear at human touch, often choosing distance over affection. With time and patience, she'll occasionally allow gentle strokes with a wand brush, but her nerves usually win out. For Violet, the ideal adopter is someone with a generous heart, content to offer comfort and safety to a cat unlikely to seek cuddles or physical closeness—a quiet, sun-filled home with lots of windows and no expectations of traditional affection would be perfect. If you believe there’s room in your heart and home for a cat who simply needs a place to be herself, Violet and Bert will be grateful. Did you know Violet is a Capricorn, known for their resilience and quiet strength? They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
