About Moira

Moira came to the rescue from Bakersfield in July 2025, first thought to be a greyhound/lab mix. DNA results say otherwise—she’s half Doberman Pinscher, with notable blends of Australian Cattle Dog, Siberian Husky, and Border Collie. About a year old and weighing 45 lbs, Moira is a lively, happy dog who throws herself into every game and makes fast friends with both people and other dogs. She gets a kick out of chasing her foster siblings around the yard and is excited to meet anyone new. Crate trained and house trained, she already knows basics like 'sit' and 'paw.' She is still a bit jumpy when excited, so ongoing training is a plus. Moira enjoys her walks and adapts easily in new settings. She gets along well with cats, dogs, and children, making her a truly all-around companion. Her adoption fee is sponsored. Moira is in Santa Rosa, CA. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
