Now that he’s safe and ready for his next chapter, Shorty is showing everyone just how wonderful he is. He’s very dog-friendly, doing great with both small and large dogs in his foster home. He’s also possibly cat-friendly — he was often seen calmly coexisting with cats during his time behind Walmart and seems more timid than anything around feline friends. Shorty is leash-trained and potty-trained, and he’s happiest when he’s part of the pack — whether that’s on a walk, exploring the yard, or lounging near his people. Like many huskies, Shorty doesn’t enjoy being crated or confined, and he’s a bit of an escape artist, so he’ll need a secure yard and supervision when outside.
