Samson can be a bit shy at first, and if there's a spider, he'll probably hide behind you. But give him a little time and he'll follow you everywhere, sticking by your side like Velcro. He’s got an easygoing temperament—he doesn’t react to passing dogs on walks and has no trouble being around other dogs in a kennel. Still, he’d prefer to be your one and only canine companion, attached as firmly as a mystery lint roller to your best outfit. Samson likes people, but he’ll warm up on his own schedule. Once he decides you’re his person, he doesn’t hold back—expect a dog who wants to be close (sometimes closer than you expect) and who won’t hesitate to check in on you, nose first. He’s playful with toys but gentle at heart. He does have a minor medical issue that means he sometimes leaves a sprinkle behind, but a belly band solves that, so it shouldn’t scare off anyone willing to offer him a home.
