About Sadie
Sadie has the kind of personality that turns heads and softens hearts. She embodies everything people love about a great family dog — loyal, silly, and always ready for a good time, whether that means racing around the backyard or curling up next to you for a quiet evening. At three years old, Sadie is an English Pointer mix with a big heart and an even bigger desire to love and be loved. Her story took a rough turn when she spent months waiting at Animal Control, where she earned plenty of praise for her friendly, playful attitude around other dogs and staff, but still ended up on a euthanasia list. A last-minute rescue gave her a second shot, and she hasn’t looked back since. Sadie is famous for her “plop and roll” move—expect her to drop into your lap whenever you sit down, ready for affection and attention. She thrives on treats and human company, but also knows how to keep herself entertained with a toy or a friendly romp with another dog. She strikes a great balance: energetic when you’re up for it, content to relax when you’ve had enough. She bonds deeply and would do well in a home with children or as a reliable adventure partner. Sadie is dog- and kid-friendly, but her feelings about cats are unknown. She’s not quite house trained yet, so patience and consistency will be important. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate, and fun companion, Sadie could quickly become the highlight of your home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
