About Dobby
Dobby is a gentle, playful Labrador Retriever searching for a place to call his own. After arriving at the shelter with his brother when their owner couldn't care for them, Dobby was understandably nervous, unsure about his new environment. With patience and kindness from volunteers, he's started to warm up—his eyes brighten at every friendly visit, and he isn't shy about doling out sweet kisses in return. Though he still carries some timidness, especially outside, Dobby is quick to unlock his silly, happy side when a squeaky toy enters the picture. He absolutely loves to chase and fetch, showing off a joyful, goofy energy that brings a smile to anyone watching. Each day, he's growing more confident, observing how other dogs enjoy walks and learning that there's nothing to fear. Dobby is current on his vaccinations, neutered, and at 1 year and 7 months old, has plenty of loyal years ahead. He's ready to give his heart to a loving family who will offer him patience and encouragement as he settles into a new routine. His ideal home is calm, secure, and kind—a place where his sweet kisses and gentle spirit will be cherished. Dobby also gets along well with children, making him a wonderful candidate for families.
