About Zess SS
Zess, known as Tess in her foster home, has an affectionate, gentle nature that shines through in everything she does. At just over a year old and about 65 pounds, she’s a sturdy medium-to-large dog with a short coat in striking black and golden shades. Zess’s foster family regularly notes how easy-going and intelligent she is—she learns quickly, responds enthusiastically to treats and pets, and adapts well to household routines. She’s house trained and crate trained, and her recall is already solid. Zess loves the company of people and dogs alike, getting along with other dogs and even doing well with cats. She’s also friendly with teens, and while she might have a few accidents at first in a new home, she settles in quickly. Her natural enthusiasm has mellowed into a respectful, calm greeting style—she now prefers to sit and wait for affection. If you have a water setup nearby, all the better: Zess loves splashing around and will make any excuse to get her feet wet. She’s already spayed, vaccinated, and cleared of any joint or hip issues despite a family history, so she’s ready for adventures and companionship. Zess is a Pisces, known for their loving and loyal personalities—she fits the sign well. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
