Zess - Date of Birth 2.23.25 This beautiful girl is incredibly affectionate and believes the best way to say hello (and “I love you”) is with a hug. If you’re looking for a puppy who wants to be close, Zess is your girl. She absolutely loves other dogs and thrives on companionship, both canine and human. Zess is gentle, loving, and always ready to soak up attention, give kisses, and curl right into your arms. Her expressive eyes and constant happy grin will melt your heart in seconds. Zess would do wonderfully in a home with dog friends, a cozy couch, and humans who don’t mind being hugged daily. She’s the kind of puppy who will grow up to be your shadow, your comfort, and your very best friend. Zess is currently with our partner rescue in Alabama. She will be transported to Maine when she has a foster home or is adopted. YOUR ADOPTION FEE COVERS: Transport to Maine, age specific vaccinations, Health certificate, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming & martingale collar. Adoption fees: Through 6 months of age $450; 7 months to through 5 years $400; 6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500; 9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300 This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning Pending Adoption. This dog is in foster care locally, ONLY if Maine is listed next to the dogs name; otherwise, the dog is still waiting with our partner rescue for an adoption or foster home in New England. All dogs have a current Health Certificate for transport. All imported dogs are quarantined 14 days prior to getting on transport.ve had annual heartworm tests and are on heartworm preventative. FOR PUPPIES: PLEASE READ!! Homes considering Puppies must be prepared for: Flexible Schedules for Potty Training. Puppies can only hold urine for one hour per month of age. Crate Training for the next 10 months to keep them safe from chewing on everything in your home. Supervision with Children and Obedience training. Socialization; both with new people, children and other dogs outside of the home. Homes that want a well behaved dog, must be prepared to put the time, effort and costs associated to train a puppy.
