Rosie – Hound/Pit/Cattle Dog mix – DOB 9/9/25 Introducing our very special little girl, Rosie! Rosie was rescued from a horrible hoarding situation along with her two brothers. They were taken to the nearby county shelter where the staff noticed right away that these babies were a little different. They also realized that all three littermates were deaf. When we heard their sad story, we just had to get them out of that shelter and into our puppy foster. They needed the attention and love that they had never known! Rosie and her brothers were emaciated and dirty, but all three were also unbelievingly happy, outgoing, and cuddly. It’s been amazing to watch them flourish in our care! While Rosie can’t hear, she can absolutely understand. In a short time, she’s learned how to use the doggie-door, play and socialize with the other puppies and big dogs in the house, and follow along when called inside. Her foster mom says she’s super sweet, gentle, and loves attention. When Rosie’s really happy, she runs in big circles and makes everyone laugh. She’s so fast all the other puppies just sit and watch her like they’re watching TV. 😂 A huge plus to her lack of hearing? The vacuum doesn’t bother her and she slept through all the fireworks on New Year’s Eve. She’s carefree and happy in her silent bubble.
