About Dexter
Dexter is a 3-year-old Dogo Argentino mix who came into rescue underweight and wandering the streets in Fort Lauderdale, FL. After months of care, he’s back to full health and weighs over 90 pounds. Neutered and fully vaccinated, Dexter is more than ready to move on from the foster system. Despite his size, he’s a gentle giant who welcomes affection, always gunning for a spot on your lap or a snuggle on the couch. Dexter loves making friends and playing with other dogs, though due to his strength and size, any canine sibling should also be fairly large. He behaves well on a leash and enjoys relaxing car rides. Dexter is crate-trained and house trained but would pick human company over solitude any day. His adoption fee is sponsored and covers a vet check, deworming, vaccines, neuter, and a microchip with lifetime registration. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
