About Willow
Do you love your chocolate dark and rich? Then Willow will catch your eye. She’s a striking chocolate Lab mix, with a deep, glossy coat that’s truly memorable. Willow came to rescue after her family lost their housing, but she previously lived with seniors, adults, older kids, cats, and another dog, so she brings a pretty diverse resume to your home. Willow has a sweet, loving nature and bonds closely—she just needs patience, especially since she can be nervous around men at first. Gentle, steady encouragement helps her come out of her shell, and she did share her previous home with both men and women. Willow enjoys dogs, though she’s selective, so meet-and-greets are important if you have a canine companion at home. With cats, she does just fine! Tennis balls are her favorite, and she’ll play, then settle contentedly—no endless zoomies. At night she likes to burrow under the covers for a snuggle. She has the makings of a truly devoted sidekick for someone willing to give her consistency and time.
