Booker T. came into our care from a hoarding situation involving many dogs. Before rescue, he was injured in an accident where a couch fell on him. Sadly, his injury went untreated until animal control intervened and he was surrendered so he could finally receive veterinary care. Booker is currently in a splint and will remain so for at least 6 weeks, with follow-up veterinary rechecks required to ensure proper healing. Despite his injury, Booker is a happy, affectionate, and playful puppy who doesn’t let his temporary setback slow him down. Because of his recovery needs, Booker is looking for a local foster-to-adopt or adoptive home that can provide: • Close supervision • Limited activity and no free running • Plenty of rest and cuddles • A calm, attentive environment during healing These recovery weeks are an ideal bonding time, and Booker will thrive with someone committed to helping him heal safely. His leg is not expected to have any long term problems, he just needs time to heal.
