Meet Fierce — a 3-ish year old pit mix with a heart as big as her personality and about 55 pounds of pure love and energy. Don't let her name fool you though! Fierce is a total sweetheart who adores attention, playtime, and snuggles. She even loves to stand up and give the best hugs around! She's dog friendly, kid friendly, house trained, and crate trained (just give her a Kong or a tough chew and she's happy), but she's not a fan of cats or small animals. Fierce doesn't have separation anxiety, she just truly prefers being with her humans and will happily let you know she wants company — especially right now after being such a devoted mama. She came to rescue as an owner surrender while pregnant and went through a lot, including mastitis that ruptured and made it impossible for her to nurse, plus some skin issues that have thankfully all been cleared up. Fierce is up to date on all her vaccines and will be spayed, ready to enjoy a life full of love. She would thrive best in an active home that can help her burn off her energy and then settle in for cuddle time. Fierce would not be suitable for apartment living, as she can be a bit of a talker and loves to let her humans know she's around. She's ready to trade in her days of motherhood for a future filled with love, adventure, and a family of her very own.
