About Fresa
Fresa is a soft-hearted 9-year-old pit mix who radiates calm and kindness. After over 250 days at the shelter, she’s ready for a peaceful home where she can finally settle in. Fresa thrives on leisurely walks and lazy naps, and she keeps herself occupied with toys when the mood strikes. She’s fully house trained, skips the crate (but handles it calmly if needed), and makes a relaxed, easy housemate. With partial hearing loss, Fresa uses her sharp mind to pick up on hand signals—sit, paw, come, and no are all in her repertoire. She’s perfectly content meeting new people at home and enjoys the company of humans. Out on the leash she sometimes hesitates, but patience helps her through. Fresa is spayed, current on shots, and will need routine ear care to keep her comfortable, but she’s an uncomplicated companion at heart. She may do well with cats or dogs, and a trainer meet is scheduled soon to help find her best match. Kids are a fine fit, too. If you want a low-key, loyal friend who trades chaos for quiet, Fresa is ready to share her gentle world. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
