About Jackie
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Jackie! Jackie is a 5-7 year old female Chinese Crested Powderpuff weighing about 10 pounds and currently in foster care after leaving a home with too many pups. She is incredibly friendly once she gets to know you, but can be very shy and easily startled at first, so she will need a safe space where she can retreat when feeling overwhelmed. Jackie is sensitive to sudden movements and loud noises, making a calm environment without young children ideal for her. With patience and love, she warms up, enjoying time outside and playing with other dogs. Jackie adores human attention, but will take some time before she feels secure enough to fully trust. Treats are a favorite of hers, though she prefers you work out a special system rather than taking them by hand. While she’s making progress with potty training, occasional accidents may happen. Jackie sleeps well through the night and would thrive with someone home most of the day who is willing to work at her pace. Jackie is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and has had a dental cleaning. She is currently fostered in the Orlando area. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
