Jackie is a 5-7 year old female Chinese Crested Powderpuff and she weighs about 10 pounds. Jackie arrived in rescue from a home with too many pups that could not properly care for her. She has settled into foster care and her foster dad says she would like to introduce herself: Hi, my name is Jackie. I’m a friendly little girl, however, I am extremely shy and scared at first until I get comfortable with you. I am also scared of sudden movements and loud noises, so it is ideal for me to have a “safe space” where I can go and hide. I really do like like attention from my human, but I'm scared and it takes time. Once I’m settled and feel safe, I love to run outside with you and play with other fur friends. I love treats, but will not take them from your hand, so we will have to work on a "system" for that. I would prefer a home with no young children and a human who can be home with me most of the day. I sleep well through the night and I’m doing well on potty training, but an occasional accident could happen.
