About Rose
Meet 1 year old sweet girl Rose. She’s a gentle, independent kitty who starts purring the moment she sees you. While she isn’t very food motivated, she has a soft spot for liquid Churu treats and will never say no to a snack. She loves playing with her own toys, often getting the zoomies and happily entertaining herself. She enjoys having her own space when she naps, and though she can be a little grumpy at times, a soft voice and gentle affection quickly bring out her loving side. She was originally a community cat who was going to be returned to the streets, and because she never experienced kindness from people, she can be a bit scared at the beginning. With patience and trust, her true personality shines. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of love once she feels safe. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can finally show just how special she truly is. She wants to be the only cat in the home. Currently in foster care in Los Angeles. Meet & greets / pickup will be coordinated upon approved application & homecheck video. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. To begin the application process, please fill out our application here: https://form.jotform.com/212117959297062 We will try our best to be in touch within 24-48 hours. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets. If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments. Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community. Thanks for your support!
